read – read data from a file

size[4] Tread tag[2] fid[4] offset[8] count[4]
size[4] Rread tag[2] count[4] data[count]

read performs I/O on the file represented by fid.

Under 9P2000.L, read cannot be used on directories. See Treaddir for reading directories.
